Bellevue Wolverines Aim for Bounce‑Back in 2026 Season.
As fall approaches, the Bellevue Wolverines prepare to reclaim their place atop the KingCo Crown (3A/4A) division. After a dominant 12‑1 run in 2024–25, head coach Michael Kneip’s squad looks to reload, a strong core of returners and replacing some key guys who have graduated.
The roster has changed, most notably along the O‑line, where 2025 seniors, including Oregon commit Demetri Manning and USC commit Willi Wascher, have graduated. Their departure ushers in a new wave of rising sophomores and juniors, challenge-ready and eager to fill those big shoes. One key player will be Eric Fang who is the only returning linemen.
For the RB position, UW commit Ryken Moon and EWU Commit Bryce smith also graduate. Who will carry the torch? Max Jones (RB/MLB, Sr.) returns after a standout season, he rushed for over 1,800 yards and scored nearly two dozen touchdowns in 2025. The 5'11", 201‑lb athlete will anchor the rushing attack and bolster the linebacker unit. Sharing backfield duties is Reylen Witherspoon (RB/DB, Jr.), whose explosive speed adds a dynamic threat to both offense and defense. Injured last season, he will look to have a breakout year.
Defensively versatile athletes like Nick Norrah (WR/FS, Sr.) who has picked up national attention over the off season including 5 Division 1 offers and a 3-star rating. AJ Morton (CB, Sr.) will become a prominent leader as well returning as a top defender on the team.
MaxPreps ranks Bellevue fourth in the state, with an overall power rating of 30.1 going into 2026. Bellevue has the same schedule as last year, playing all 4a teams despite being a 3a school. If Bellevue starts hot with wins over good Bethel and Lake stevens teams, it will be hard to stop the Wolverines going forward.
