Book lovers, get excited! Barnes & Noble has officially opened its brand new location here in Bellevue. Located in none other than Bellevue Square, the bookstore offers a cozy space to browse through a wide selection of books, games and music. After long anticipation, its opening was met with overwhelming enthusiasm from the Bellevue community.
“I love the experience of going out and buying a book, so I was so excited to hear that one was opening right here in Bellevue,” said junior Zoey Lin.
Barnes & Noble is a global chain of bookstores founded in 1886 and has since transformed into the nation’s largest bookseller. Being an iconic and beloved shop, Barnes & Noble offers locations across the country. Until recently, the closest store in Bellevue was located at the Crossroads Mall.
Customers of the new location can browse through a variety of sections, including bestsellers, magazines, children and young adult fiction, as well as classics and new releases. The store also offers board games and children’s toys as well as vinyl records and CDs, allowing customers of all ages and interests to enjoy.
In addition to this large selection of items, customers can also expect various author visits and other special events, making the store a center of gathering for the Bellevue literary community. This inviting warmth can be felt in the store, with its cozy places to read and welcoming ambiance. The store continues to exemplify Barnes & Noble’s commitment to encourage a love for reading while bringing together a community of readers.
