There always comes a time where you must flip a page in life and accept change, The Barque has recently flipped that page. The Barque has chosen and instated it’s EIC’s for next year, and they want to introduce themselves.

Hi, my name is Vaughn Ederer, and I’m a junior. I have been in The Barque since my sophomore year. I participate in many activities at Bellevue outside of the school newspaper, such as the sports analytics club and varsity lacrosse. I consider myself the tough guy out of the EIC’s, as they call me “The Hammer” always dropping the truth and ensuring we meet deadlines. I am beyond excited to be leading The Barque, and I plan to do great things.

Hey, what’s up my name is Rowan Gerron. I am also a junior and have been a part of The Barque since my sophomore year. I started as a measly photographer in The Barque, and I can’t believe I get to call the shots now. Outside of The Barque I am a huge golfer as I play on the varsity golf team and participate in tournaments across the state in the off-season. I also participate in a philanthropy group called National League of Youth Men in my spare time. They call me the “Captain” as I control many of the operations as EIC and always am making sure my fellow EIC’s are doing their work along with the rest of the staff. I am beyond thrilled to be selected as EIC and thank everybody for their support.

Hi, my name is Will O’Hara and I’m also a junior. I joined The Barque early in my sophomore year, I began my journey in The Barque as a graphics designer working day and night. Outside of The Barque I am involved in National Honor Society and National Tech Honor Society, and also play on the varsity boys soccer team. My role in The Barque is more on the business side so they call me “Logistics”. I love taking control of the business side of the barque and dealing with the money. I am looking forward to my time as EIC and hope to lead the staff to do great things.
