Best Swim Spots in Bellevue

It’s a hot summer day, you and your friends are all ready to hit the beach, but the question is…what is the best swim spot in Bellevue this summer?

Meydenbauer Beach Park has always been a hot spot for swimming or picnics during the summer.

“I’ve always gone to Meydenbauer Beach Park,” says sophomore Alexa Axter.

“I don’t swim a lot, but when I do, I go to Meydenbauer,” says sophomore Valeria Tapia.

Not only is Meydenbauer big, but it’s also near downtown Bellevue, making it an easily accessible spot for many people. A popular beach that is very convenient is a must-try!

Some people prefer other beach parks, like Chism Beach Park, which is a location known for being big, clean and fun.

“I love Chism beach. It has clean water, less crowds, good parking, and overall, is just fun to hang out at,” says junior Mara Sabes.

Like Meydenbauer, Chism is also a beach park, but some people prefer it because it is not in the middle of downtown Bellevue, which allows for a more spacious and relaxing beach experience.

Some, on the other hand, might want more locations close to home.

“My favorite swim spot is Enatai Beach cause it’s near my house,” said sophomore Kate Chang.

Beaches near home are always more favorable, especially for student who don’t have their driver's license this summer. A beach that is a walkable distance from home means less time getting to the beach and more time spent relaxing on the beach.
